Seven Languages

Just like the band, Caligagan’s music is a miscegenation, a subtle alchemy between pop music, folk and reggae.
Constituted in Italy, the band is composed by Anthony Caligagan, songwriter and singer, Léopoldo Giannola, (guitarist and co-songwriter) and finally by Enrico Calandrelli (baritone guitarist and co-songwriter as well).
The band delivers us an acoustic and electric music, energetic and soft at the same time, reaching at some simple and effective melodies.
Anthony, the singer, comes from Sweden, he can speak five different languages. Citizen of the world, he gives us his voice through his musical conquests, and makes us travel to different many continents.
This universality offers to the band the legitimacy of presenting his peaceful talk with some text which advocates the love and the respect between people. “Give to Get” is his philosophy.
His first contract with an Italian label will lead him to Midem in 1995 and will allow him to meet his productor Philippe Delmas. His first album “Seven Languages” was released in October 2005.
