Reggae Street Showcase

For this 17th release Fredread WEBCAM HI-FI / TUBE DUB SOUND RECORDS is proud to present « Reggae Street Showcase » KOJO NEATNESS aka Omard Bernard first album. This album is part of traditional showcase albums six tunes each followed by its dub.
This album sublimates Kojo Neatness 's unfairy unknown beautiful voice where fascinating melodies talk to conscious lyrics. They deal with ghetto life ganja love friendship rude boy and rastafari.
Concerning riddims it's all about roots rock reggae music from rockers to rub a dub and one drop. All instruments had been played by musicians and mostly recorded by Fredread at Studio pon the hill. Zigo (Dub Inc / Greenyard records) played the drums Ras Martin longtime brotha and part of WEBCAM HI-FI crew played some guitar bass and keyboard. Some guests brought them precious vibe like Mightybo (Askan vibe / Vineyard records) on guitar or Meekman (involved in nyabinghi drums making) to name a few.
Ben Jouve sound engineer for Dub Inc recorded drums and realised mastering of this album.
Cleverly arranged and mixed this « Reggae Street Showcase » album will delight fans from Channel One to Alborosie. Tradition and modernity dedicated to a warm album.
We remain fully charmed.
