I Don't Want To Be An Emperor

Description

With each of the tracks having a particular mood and orchestration the album is rich with colors and influences from many music styles. From the beautiful classical interlude 'Awakening' to the more trip-hop oriented 'The Chord Cracker' via the groovy ‘This Old Tune’, everything is meticulously arranged to deliver the listener a unique experience. The use of samples in many tracks adds a context to the compositions and a cinematic feeling that has led many of the listeners to compare his music to such artists as 'Bonobo', 'Dj Shadow' or 'The Herbaliser'.
